We’re looking for a General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have a direct impact on our success.
You will be part of the Shared Services Center team, supporting the LATAM region.

About the Role

  • Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • Prepares and books monthly journal entries

  • Provides financial/analytical support to various departments

  • Participates in ERP roll-out of new countries

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements

  • Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation

  • Assist in various areas of financial reporting, month, quarter and year-end close, and/or other daily/monthly accounting processes

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance

  • +5 years of experience with solid knowledge in Accounting and Mexican VAT legislation, other LATAM regions legislations would be a plus.

  • Experience in IFRS and other areas of accounting (AR/AP/Cash management/Fixed Assets/Inventory)

  • Experience with a month end close process, reconciliations, and recording into an ERP

  • System experience with ERP required, ORACLE Fusion as a plus

  • Accounting certification, e.g. CPA, ACCA or similar is a plus.

  • Largely self-directed, able to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management input

     

  • Ability to work under pressure and experience in transformation/transition

  • Fluent in English required
